Winning Head Guards

Winning head guards — handmade in Japan, same workshop as the gloves, same reputation for protection. If you have ever taken a clean shot to the head and thought "I barely felt that," you were probably wearing a Winning.

The FG-2900 is their flagship model — full-face protection with a wide, thick cheek guard and a padded chin strap that does not slide around mid-round. The foam is Winning's proprietary blend: absorbs impact without the rigid, bouncy feel of cheaper molded guards. The lining is the same soft leather used in their gloves — no abrasion on your face even after long sparring sessions.

Winning also makes an open-face FG-5000 for those who want maximum visibility and ventilation. Both models come in standard colours (black, white, red, blue) and ship from Japan. These are not cheap — but for fighters doing regular hard sparring, the protection and durability justify the price. Most gyms that have a Winning head guard hanging on the wall have had it for 5+ years.
