Our passion for all things MMA
In the mid 2000's, our favourite thing to do when attending MMA events in Las Vegas was to purchase our yearly supply of t-shirts from Las Vegas Fight Shop. We would come home in disbelief that a similar store hadn’t been opened in Australia yet. With previous experience in retail, we thought, we can do that. In July 2011, we opened in Melbourne with a bang! A line of 100+ people stretched around the block waiting to meet UFC legend Chuck Liddell.
Listening to our customers shaped and defined what we needed to become
We had a steady flow of customers as we began to build our brand, but we quickly learnt that our customers would define our long term success. Our initial concept was simple; t-shirts, MMA shorts, BJJ uniforms, and some training gear. Customers quickly educated us on what they expected from our business - they wanted authentic training equipment and apparel.
We travelled the world to secure the most exclusive and recognisable brands
Armed with the priceless feedback from our customers, we travelled around the world securing the biggest brands with the highest quality products. Our stores became stocked with Hayabusa, Cleto Reyes, Fairtex, Kingz, Everlast, adidas, Tatami Fightwear, Nike, RVCA, Engage, Bad Boy and many more.
Creating an inviting atmosphere with access to inside product knowledge
With a diverse and talented team of people, we have incorporated a look and feel to our brand that is inclusive to all. We always want to ensure our customers feel inspired when walking into one of our stores. And most importantly, we want them to be greeted by staff members who can share their knowledge of the sport and products because they actually use them too.
The passion continues
After 10 years, we still love what we do. Now with four retail stores and our online presence, we continue to establish ourselves as the premium supplier of all things MMA. We are still listening to the needs of our customers and providing the latest in cutting-edge products. We are extremely proud to be Australian owned.
