Rival Boxing Gloves

Rival Boxing gloves — designed and tested in Canada, with a focus on ergonomics and hand protection that sets them apart from traditional Mexican or Thai glove designs. Rival does not make a generic glove in different colours — each model (RS1, RS100, RFX-Guerrero, RB10) has a distinct fit, foam composition, and intended use.

Key Rival technologies to know: the Ergo Strap System angles the wrist closure for a more natural hand position, D3O foam (used in some models) stiffens on impact for added knuckle protection, and the 15-degree angled fist design mimics the natural curve of a relaxed hand. Their bag gloves (RB series) use denser foam for heavy bag and pad work — not recommended for sparring. Sparring gloves (RS and RFX series) use softer, more giving foam for partner safety.
