The HyperKO 3 is here — and it is a genuine leap forward.
At 10.2oz, these are the lightest Nike boxing shoes ever made. The engineered mesh upper, the Phylon foam midsole, the redesigned outsole — every part of this boot has been rebuilt from the ground up. If you have been waiting for the next generation of Nike's flagship boxing boot, the wait is over.
Here is everything you need to know.
What's New in the HyperKO 3
The HyperKO 3 is not a minor revision. It represents three generations of refinement since the original HyperKO, and the changes are visible — and feelable — from your first round.
Engineered mesh upper. Lighter and more breathable than the HyperKO 2. The mesh wraps the foot with minimal bulk, keeping airflow high during long sessions. Less weight, less heat, less distraction.
Phylon foam midsole. This is the same foam technology Nike uses in its distance running line, repurposed for the ring. It delivers marathon-grade cushioning and energy return — each step off the canvas is as responsive as the first.
Redesigned outsole. The hexagonal traction pattern gives you grip exactly where you need it and slip where you don't. The pivot point is engineered into the outsole, so southpaws, orthodox fighters, and anyone switching stance mid-combination can move without friction.
High-top ankle collar with dual lace system. Locks the ankle in without restricting lateral movement. You get the stability of a high-top with the freedom of a low-cut.

Who Should Buy the HyperKO 3
The HyperKO 3 suits competitive and serious amateur boxers who want the lightest possible boot without sacrificing ankle support. If you are training footwork-heavy combinations, working with a coach on ring movement, or competing at any level — this is the boot.
For training-only use or if you are building your first kit, the HyperKO 2 remains an excellent choice at a lower price point. But if every gram counts and you want the best Nike has ever made: HyperKO 3.
HyperKO 3 vs HyperKO 2 — Which One?

| Weight | 10.2oz | ~12oz |

The HyperKO 3 is the competition choice — lighter, more responsive, with better energy return. The HyperKO 2 is the training workhorse — slightly heavier, equally well-made, $120 less. Most fighters who train daily choose the HyperKO 2 for the gym and step up to the HyperKO 3 for fight day.
