The Athena Lua Nogi BJJ Shorts are Athena’s first women’s no-gi shorts — created after listening closely to what female grapplers actually wanted. The result? A super-comfortable, high-performance short designed to make no-gi training feel better, move better and fit better.
Featuring a soft, high-rise waistband with an internal drawstring (no Velcro — ever), Lua eliminates scratch, bulk and distraction. The 12cm / 5” inseam offers the perfect balance of coverage and mobility, while the thick yet ultra-stretchy inner shorts provide confident support without extending past the outer layer.
Designed with extra room through the hips and glutes and a modest but wide thigh split, these shorts allow full freedom during explosive scrambles, guard work and transitions — without restriction or discomfort.
